Powerful Conferencing Tools

Delivering full management flexibility and control, the Polycom RMX 1000 allows conferences to be established via pre-set profiles based on user or group specifications. Always-available, on-demand meeting rooms offer an equally seamless way to initiate multi-point conferences. Meetings in-progress benefit from the Polycom RMX 1000 Personal Conference Manager (PCM), an on-screen menu that allows the conference chairperson to add, remove or mute participants as well as record, terminate, or change layouts of conferences.

For mission-critical conference requirements, the Polycom RMX 1000 includes an optional on-board scheduler and a complete XML API toolkit—identical to the Polycom RMX 2000® toolkit—that seamlessly integrates conferencing into applications and workflows. Optimized internal resource provisioning and Polycom Lost Packet Recovery (LPR) technology ensure high quality video, audio, and content delivery across even congested networks.
